My experience was very different from my last stay 6 years ago
The whole hotel could do with a serious update. I felt that nothing had been improved since my last stay and this was in 2009! If you want to remain in the top flight you have to do something drastic about the whole offer of the hotel - now very dated. My room carpet was even torn and the hair dryer was FILTHY

The rooms are well-kept and have beautiful amenities, and the staff is very attentive to details, providing a welcome note and even personalized coffee preferences. The breakfast served at the Cafe is delicious, with a fancy pancake that's definitely worth a try.
